So my owner and I have been here a whole week!!!!! It has been super exciting but also very lonely. We have been watching a lot of movies. But we did meet up with some Americans this weekend! They are very nice and they showed us to the major points that will be useful. Mainly to the one store that is a lot like Wal-mart! The kids are so cute! I thought there would be a very big difference in how children looked and behaved in Korea but There really isn't! I think that it is awesome how similar all people are. This week we have learned that it really doesn't matter where you go in the world every one is the same. I like it!
The most difficult thing for my owner is trying to find something to eat. I am glad that I don't have to eat! It is funny when she comes back from the store, because she is mostly giggling at how she really needs to learn at least how to read some words. I tell that might be useful since you are going to be here for a while. There is one little bakery that prints all in English and that is where she goes to buy peanut butter and bread. The bread smells so very yummy!! But it only last for about a week because it is so humid, so we keep it in the fridge!
Even though it is lonely we still like the space and the freedom of life! Our lives are going to change 100% this year!

We are here!
We have arrived here in Korea!!! It is super different and not different all at the same time. This biggest difference beside the language is the food. We have been trying to figure out what foods are. The pictures help a ton!! One food item that I was in shock about was the bread. They do not carry bread in the regular super markets. Although the super markets are more like small Harding's.
The people here are very friendly. They like to help as much as they can. One thing that I am concerned about is the hot water. So far I don't have hot water but I don't know if that is because there is hot water like there is in American or if the hot water heater is not working. Oh well I am okay with a little bit of a cold shower for now, I think.
Tomorrow I will be going on an adventure! But I am not going to tell you what it is because that is a surprise. It is going to be epic!!!!!!!!

On our way!
Tuesday August 9th at 5:45 AM we took off from the Detroit airport! It was a very short flight in a very small plane. We landed in Chicago and we ran to the next gate. We then got on the plane to Los Angeles! This was the first time I have ever been to California! We are in a wonderful hotel! The king size bed is so comfy and big! As wonderful as LA is it is WAY to expensive! We went to the Korean Consulate and everything was in Korean. But that was to be expected. We are leaving for Korea at 12:20 AM. My owner is super nervous but I am happy to be visiting the place I was originally "born." She misses her family and friends a lot! Good thing I am going with to keep her company! The plane ride is going to be 14 hours long and we are going to lose a whole day! But we will be sleeping most of the way so we should be a little rested. Well we need to get ready to go! See you in a day or two!

First things first
Hello, my name is Teddy R. Bear. I currently live in Kalamazoo Michigan with my owner. My owner and I have been together for the last 23 almost 24 years. I was her Christmas present from her aunt. Over the last few months we have been getting ready for our biggest journey yet. We are moving to South Korea! She is going over there to teach Conversational English. She tells people that she is going to teach little Asian babies. I think she is very funny. I am not nervous about going over there at all but she is a very nervous. She gets really homesick because she is very close to her family. I am going to help her through all of the homesickness. There are going to be a ton of adventures and stories that I will let you all know. As of right now we are just waiting for the teaching visa to get finished. I can't wait!!!!!!!!
